Gasoline direct injection brought about a new level of efficiency to modern vehicles but with it came new challenges. Carbon accumulation in the intake path led several manufacturers to create dual injection systems that would wash the back of the intake valves and utilize direct injection for its power and lower fuel consumption to capture the best of both worlds when it comes to fuel injection.

This seminar will cover single GDI and dual fuel injections systems and how to properly diagnose them. GDI injectors being installed in the combustion chamber reduces access to them for testing so, we’ll cover testing techniques that prove functionality without teardown and physical inspection
