TST Jan. 12, 2022: Nissan NERS J2534 Programming w/Joe Hyde

In this webinar you will learn the process of downloading, installing, and utilizing the NERS J2534 programming software. We will cover frequently asked questions in addition to tips, tricks, and best practices for a profitable and efficient programming event. We will also cover the Nissan CVT transmission programming capabilities. Including a printable chart to quickly determine if/when you can perform the TCM programming event prior to repair or replacement of the CVT. When you complete the webinar you should be able to retrieve the current calibration of the vehicle, verify the availability of an updated calibration, download and place the file in the proper location. We will include programming best practices in order to avoid potential programming failures. Q/A

 I served in the automotive repair industry for 29 years. For as long as I can remember, problem-solving has been my gifting and at an early age, I was drawn to the field of automotive repair. As a young man, my passion was ignited as I repaired my single mother's car. From there it grew and has sustained through the years as the industry has gone from carburetors to fuel injection, and now to fully electric and autonomous vehicles. I have had the opportunity to fulfill many job roles in my career as a general service technician all the way to the service director of a large dealership. I have also had the honor of shaping young technicians brand new to the industry through apprenticeship programs and trade school instruction. These roles and experiences along with continuing my leadership and industry education have allowed me the opportunity to serve our industry.
