What is a 'Webcast'? A webcast seminar is like a regular seminar with a live instructor (via webcam) and PowerPoint. You can attend this webcast on a computer/laptop right from your shop, home or anywhere there is internet access. You can ask the instructor questions by typing or (speaking, requires a headset). During the webcast there will be live demonstrations and in some cases, if you have a PC based scan tool or labscope, we can take over your tool and walk you through menus and much more. So, what we have is a much more innovative and effective educational format, all from the comfort of your own home!
How long do the Webcasts last? Unless otherwise specified, a total of one or two hours. You may ask any questions that pertain to the subject matter being taught. Be sure to bring you PC-based scan tool! During Q and A, the instructor can take control of it and teach you "hands on" via the computer.
Is it easy to do? YES! You don't have to download any programs or learn anything new. If you can surf the internet, you can attend our webcasts! To attend, simply pay at the door by clicking TSTseminars.webex.com at the time of the seminar.
What if I have problems logging in or using the service? You can click here for help paying for a live webcast or recorded webcast. For a review on how to use WebEx, click on this link to help you navigate the webcast. WE RECOMMEND YOU DO THE FOLLOWING: 1. Your computer has all of its Windows Updates and Drivers installed; 2. Make sure your speakers are plugged in; 3. Troubleshoot at WEBex.com with a customer service representative and make sure your computer's sound and everything else works. Why? We want your training to be seamless. TST provides high quality automotive training cheap, but we are not computer specialists! We rely on you to troubleshoot your computer and we do not take any responsibility if a webcast or recording does not work, because of computer problems we are not responsible for.
